State Chamber Salutes Recently Added Board Members

Oklahoma City (April 18, 2016) – The State Chamber of Oklahoma is pleased to announce new additions to its Board of Directors. Board members approve the policy agenda drafted by committees of State Chamber members and choose their leadership. The board is made up of proven leaders in their respective industries who will continue to strengthen the State Chamber’s position as the statewide voice of business in Oklahoma.

“The best way to set the State Chamber’s agenda and advocate for pro-growth policies that will continue to move the state forward is by having a strong, active board of directors,” said State Chamber President and CEO Fred Morgan. “Adding more knowledgeable and talented individuals to the considerable expertise of our Board of Directors greatly benefits the State Chamber.”

The new Board members, along with their companies and location are:

• Ann Ackerman, President & CEO, Oklahoma Business Roundtable (OKC)
• Jeff Clark, Executive Director, The Wind Coalition (Austin)
• George Gibbs, Attorney, Gibbs, Armstrong, Borochoff, Mullican & Hart P.C. (Tulsa)
• Lucky Lamons, Foundation President, St. John Health System (Tulsa)

In addition, Xavier Neira, Business Development Director for Manhattan Construction, was recently appointed to the Board of Directors Executive Committee.
