Oklahoma City (April 3, 2017) – The State Chamber of Oklahoma is proud to welcome Emily Shipley to its team of policy experts. She will serve as Vice President of Government Affairs beginning April 3.

“Emily brings a wealth of knowledge and relationships from multiple years working at the Capitol,” said CEO and President, Fred Morgan. “Her previous experience will serve her well at the State Chamber and we are fortunate to have her.”

“After years of working in public policy, I know the value that the business community brings to the table,” said Shipley. “I am excited to be a part of the State Chamber’s talented team working to advance policies that ensure Oklahoma’s economic growth and development.”

Shipley received a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from the University of Oklahoma. She has previously worked as the Director of Government Relations for the Oklahoma Health Care Authority and the Public Policy Coordinator for the Attorney General’s office.
