State Chamber of Oklahoma President & CEO reelected to leadership in national Council of State Chambers

Fred Morgan to serve as Vice Chairman of Council of State Chambers

Oklahoma City (October 18, 2016) – State Chamber of Oklahoma President & CEO Fred Morgan has been reelected to serve as Vice Chairman of the Council of State Chambers. The Council of State Chambers encourages cooperation among state chambers and promotes the state chamber of commerce movement throughout the country.

This is Morgan’s second consecutive term as Vice Chairman for the Council of State Chambers. Prior to his appointment as Vice Chairman, Morgan served as Secretary/Treasurer for the organization. 

“The Council of State Chambers promotes strategies and ideas that can enhance our business climate,” said Morgan. “It is an honor to be reelected Vice Chairman, and I look forward to continuing to work alongside colleagues across the United States this year to strengthen the state chamber system.”

Established in 1923, the Council of State Chambers is the national organization for state chamber CEOs and their executive leadership.
