State Chamber of Oklahoma names Sean Rose as its new Vice President of Communications

The State Chamber of Oklahoma announced today that Sean Rose will serve as its new Vice President of Communications.

“We are excited to welcome Sean as our new Vice President of Communications,” said Fred Morgan, President and CEO of the State Chamber. “Sean’s marketing and communications expertise and his prior work in advocacy and government make him ideally suited for this position.”

“I am very excited about the opportunity presented to me,” Rose said. “I look forward to continuing to build on the State Chamber’s legacy as the leading statewide advocate for business in Oklahoma. As key policies are being decided at the state Capitol, it’s essential that the perspective of Oklahoma’s job creators—their unique challenges and opportunities—are properly conveyed and understood.”

Rose completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Central Oklahoma. Previously, Rose worked at the Better Business Bureau of Central Oklahoma where he served as the Vice President of Communications & Marketing. No stranger to public policy or the state Capitol, Rose started his career out serving as a Public Affairs Liaison in the governor’s office. After that, he headed up communications and advocacy for a large industry trade association working with legislators at both the state and federal levels.

In addition, Rose has received several awards and honors during his career including a “30 Under 30” award from NextGen Oklahoma and was named one of the “Top 20 Under 40” by The Business Times.
