State Chamber of Oklahoma Launches 2019 Job Killers Website

Oklahoma City (February 22, 2018) – The State Chamber of Oklahoma has launched its annual “OK Job Killers” website for legislative session. The site, OKJobKillers.com, provides a list of proposed bills that are detrimental to Oklahoma’s economy and job-creation efforts.

“Oklahoma faces big challenges: growing our economy, improving education, increasing incomes and streamlining government efficiency,” said State Chamber Executive Vice President, Mike Jackson. “Now, more than ever, we need an environment that fosters job creation and innovation. OKJobKillers.com makes it easy for Oklahomans to tell when legislation is harmful to their jobs and businesses.”

The site lists pending legislation that would roll back successful programs or reforms, raise or shift taxes on business, impose costly mandates and expand government red tape. It also provides a way for citizens to contact their local legislators to ask them to reject these job-killing bills that would weaken our state’s economy and competitiveness.
