State, OKC and Tulsa Chambers Announce Joint Legislative Agenda

Oklahoma City (March 8, 2018) – The State Chamber of Oklahoma, the Greater Oklahoma City Chamber and the Tulsa Regional Chamber have announced their joint legislative agenda for the 2018 session. The agenda covers state and federal issue areas and details specific policies agreed upon by the chambers related to economic development, workforce development, health care, transportation and many more.

“We stand united with the Tulsa and Oklahoma City chambers on these policies and believe they are vital to Oklahoma’s economic strength and overall competitiveness,” said State Chamber President and CEO, Fred Morgan. “Together, we’ll advocate to ensure that these crucial policies are implemented to grow jobs and opportunity in Oklahoma.”

"This joint agenda makes the priorities of the business community clear: we believe the state will see robust growth by investing in education, infrastructure and a healthy workforce,” said Mike Neal, president and CEO of the Tulsa Regional Chamber. “Protecting economic incentives that attract jobs, while also stabilizing our state budget, will continue to foster a business-friendly climate in the state. We are proud to partner with the State Chamber of Oklahoma and the Greater Oklahoma City Chamber to advocate for these policies.”
