State Chamber of Oklahoma applauds state Senate for sending House Bill 2367 to Gov. Stitt

Oklahoma City (May 22, 2019) – After the Oklahoma Senate sent House Bill 2367 on workers’ compensation to Gov. Kevin Stitt, Fred Morgan, president and CEO of the State Chamber of Oklahoma, released the following statement:

“House Bill 2367 represents months of hard work and good faith negotiations amongst all parties to enable a competitive workers’ compensation market in Oklahoma that encourages job creation and respects injured workers.”

“The State Chamber of Oklahoma is thankful for the leadership of state Sen. Julie Daniels and state Rep. Chris Kannady, and we are grateful that this measure passed both chambers unanimously.”

“This legislation is pivotal if we want to be a top ten state. We look forward to Gov. Stitt’s signature on House Bill 2367.”
