After the Oklahoma Senate passed House Bill 1884 sending it to Gov. Kevin Stitt, Fred Morgan, president and CEO of the State Chamber of Oklahoma, released the following statement:

“Expanding Oklahoma’s Automotive Engineer Tax Credit with House Bill 1884 can help put Oklahoma in the driver’s seat of the automotive manufacturing industry.”

“For several years, we’ve watched the industry move west. No doubt Oklahoma’s central location makes us an excellent place for the industry to operate.”

“This bill by Rep. Fetgatter, Sen. Bice, and the Oklahoma Department of Commerce has the potential to positively impact Oklahoma’s economy, particularly our rural communities. Gov. Stitt should sign this bill into law immediately to help make us a top ten state.”
