State Chamber Endorses Darin Chambers for State House

Oklahoma City (September 1, 2017) – The State Chamber of Oklahoma announced today its endorsement of Darin Chambers in the special election for Oklahoma’s State House District 46 in Norman. He faces one Democrat in the September 12 election.

“Darin Chambers is a dynamic leader with a proven track record of serving his neighbors and community,” said Fred Morgan, president and CEO of the State Chamber of Oklahoma. “He has served our country as a Nuclear Submarine Officer in the U.S. Navy. After his honorable military service, Darin built a thriving business helping other companies to succeed. Now, he uses his experience and skills to teach the next generation as a lecturer and Capstone Coordinator for engineering students at the University of Oklahoma.”

“Darin knows that we cannot continue to ignore important issues like education, health care, the economy and our state budget,” said Morgan. “He isn’t afraid to roll up his sleeves and get to work at the Capitol. Now more than ever Oklahoma needs voices with the credibility, experience and courage to make a difference on the complex issues that we face, and Darin Chambers is the clear choice.”

Darin graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science. Following his military career, he went on to earn his MBA from UCLA Anderson School of Business. He also volunteers to teach robotics, personal finance and economics at a local high school. Darin and his wife Dianne, an OB-GYN physician, live in Norman with their two daughters and welcomed two foster children into their family earlier this summer.
