State Chamber Comments on the Passage of the Aerospace Engineering Incentives off of the Senate Floor

Oklahoma City (March 15, 2017) – State Chamber of Oklahoma Vice President of Government Affairs, Jennifer Lepard, released the following statement:

“We applaud the Senate on protecting Oklahoma’s valuable Aerospace Engineering Incentives by passing Senate Bill 120. According to the most recent data from the Oklahoma Tax Commission, the Aerospace Engineering Incentives generated nearly $15 million in economic impact in 2014 while only costing the state $7 million. Our state is in the middle of a budget crisis and it is vital that we keep important, revenue-generating programs like this in Oklahoma.”
