Pharmacy Bill Shows Spirit of Cooperation
Compromise language will save money while still providing access to local pharmacies
Oklahoma City (March 27, 2014) – State Chamber Vice President of Policy Development and Government Affairs Jonathan Buxton made the following comment on passage of House Bill 2100 today in the Senate Business and Commerce Committee:
“The State Chamber is pleased that negotiations led by our office have resulted in the language found in House Bill 2100 which advanced from committee today. By bringing together two important businesses sectors, we were able to develop policies that will enhance the cost savings provided by pharmacy benefits management while ensuring patient access to local pharmacies. It once again proves that business in Oklahoma works best when it works together.”
