Incentives Help “All of the Above” Energy Policy

Oklahoma City (October 1, 2014) – State Chamber of Oklahoma President Fred Morgan released the following statement after today’s interim study in the House Revenue and Tax subcommittee:

“The State Chamber supports the regular examination of tax incentives in order to make sure they continue to work as intended to encourage growth and jobs in the state. The work of previous legislatures resulted in billions of dollars in capital investment by the wind energy industry in Oklahoma to help fulfill the governor’s “all of the above” policy of energy production. We hope that lawmakers will honor existing commitments and continue policies that encourage domestic energy production of all types and the creation of more good paying jobs in the state.”
