Chad Warmington comments on moving to phase two of the Open Up and Recover Safely Plan

Chad Warmington, chairman of Gov. Kevin Stitt's Bounce Back Advisory Group, issued the following statement in response to the governor announcing Oklahoma will be moving to phase two of the Open Up and Recover Safely (OURS) plan.

"The priority of the Bounce Back Advisory Group is promoting the safe recovery of the economy and encouraging Oklahomans to safely return to their routines. The sacrifices made by all Oklahomans over the past few weeks have paid off. Now it is time to resume living our lives with an appropriate emphasis on social distancing and personal hygiene. Oklahoma's economy can't recover if we don't all actively participate in it. I encourage Oklahomans to safely support recovery efforts by eating out and visiting your favorite retail and entertainment venues. Based on the status reports from the Governor's COVID Response Team, Oklahoma meets the requirements to enter phase two of the state's Open Up and Recover Safely (OURS) plan. This data should bring confidence to businesses and consumers as the state takes the next step towards economic recovery on May 15." - Chad Warmington, President and CEO of the State Chamber and chairman of the Bounce Back Advisory Group
